Wilbur Hyde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulryk Jucha's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Wilfred Noel kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Joaquim Vilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 11th minute of the match, Joaquim Vilar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cezary Sitko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cezary Sitko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Vilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Canalla de Chicago's Wilfred Noel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ignacy Fronczak, made in the 15th minute of the game. Cezary Sitko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Vilar in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Vilar in the 20th minute of play forced MKS Mazur Ełk's goalkeeper Cezary Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilbur Hyde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Dorigatti, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Joaquim Vilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezary Sitko having to interfere. In the 36th minute Armando Dorigatti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilbur Hyde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, El Canalla de Chicago's Joaquim Vilar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cezary Sitko was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulryk Jucha was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to MKS Mazur Ełk getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Armando Dorigatti hit a great ball. Ignacy Fronczak charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignacy Fronczak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes MKS Mazur Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Fronczak. The supporters of MKS Mazur Ełk booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Medrano didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Canalla de Chicago's Justin Raines was substituted for Andreas Sanchez. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Matthew Medrano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, MKS Mazur Ełk's David Bitănescu got a free kick in the 67th minute. Justin Raines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cezary Sitko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Domingo Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Sitko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MKS Mazur Ełk's Cezary Sitko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justin Raines in the 73rd minute of play. Justin Raines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MKS Mazur Ełk made a substitution. Kajetan Konieczny replaced Ignacy Fronczak. 79 minutes into the game, David Bitănescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MKS Mazur Ełk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Canalla de Chicago the free kick. In the 82nd minute, MKS Mazur Ełk's Armando Dorigatti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Armando Dorigatti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbur Hyde having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, MKS Mazur Ełk's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Raines came free, but Cezary Sitko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MKS Mazur Ełk's Cezary Sitko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Lopez in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the El Canalla de Chicago players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
