When Leon Borcz came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the TAJFUN Giszowiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Borcz couldn't finish the play. Aversa's Gísli Langnickel got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind TAJFUN Giszowiec's goalkeeper Tanek Brudzisz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Tanek Brudzisz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aversa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amedeo Vida in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in TAJFUN Giszowiec's zone, Kauã Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanek Brudzisz came out of the goal and Kauã Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aversa's Emory Øien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Borcz in the 29th minute of play. Emory Øien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Borcz in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gísli Langnickel in the 41st minute of play forced TAJFUN Giszowiec's goalkeeper Tanek Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to TAJFUN Giszowiec getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Olgierd Balonek hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gísli Langnickel to strike the kick off in the second half. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aversa.
