Salamón Del Fierro was a little too slow when Florencio Castulo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Marcelino Policarpio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tauro Fontecilla in the 18th minute of play forced Old School FC's goalkeeper Anatole Waser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salamón Del Fierro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Kağan Veysel in the 20th minute of the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Leandro Marsal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Old School FC's Anatole Waser was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Kağan Veysel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salamón Del Fierro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernán Maas in the 41st minute of play forced Old School FC's goalkeeper Anatole Waser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tauro Fontecilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlín Amuscotegui got free with Anatole Waser in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 53 played minutes CDU Católica got a freekick which was hit by Cristóbal Lataste. When Leandro Marsal fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CDU Católica's protests and gave Leandro Marsal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CDU Católica getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Leandro Marsal hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Alexandre Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Old School FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CDU Católica the free kick. A collision led to Old School FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alexandre Sena hit a great ball. Anatole Waser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tauro Fontecilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Old School FC's zone, Leandro Marsal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anatole Waser came out of the goal and Leandro Marsal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CDU Católica's Sergi Goyenechea was substituted for Leandro Marsal. Ahmet Kağan Veysel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salamón Del Fierro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Goizeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Orlín Amuscotegui reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anatole Waser. The goal made the score 1-1. After a rather tough play, CDU Católica's Salbatore Aulestia got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Salamón Del Fierro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Kağan Veysel, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Julio Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelino Policarpio might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salamón Del Fierro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelino Policarpio ran back to his position shaking his head. If Tauro Fontecilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Old School FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tauro Fontecilla came free, but Anatole Waser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The CDU Católica players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Old School FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
