Agustín Álvarez started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Martin Grøtterud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2 minutes into the match, Martin Grøtterud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christophe Troxler. Montevideo City Torque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Grøtterud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Christophe Troxler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Grøtterud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute Emalia Olkusz were awarded a corner. Olaf Rawa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Montevideo City Torque's goalie and right to Martin Grøtterud. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Montevideo City Torque's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 9 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Grøtterud. Emalia Olkusz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olaf Rawa in the 11th minute. The corner ended in Olaf Rawa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler did a great save. Sunday Niedziela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reuben Meade in the 15th minute of the match. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Grøtterud in the 16th minute of play. Marcin Zworski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Christophe Troxler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Innar Laaneloog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Grøtterud was the one to do the kick off. Sunday Niedziela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute, Reuben Meade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sunday Niedziela was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 66 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Receanu came free, but Christophe Troxler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sunday Niedziela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reuben Meade in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Zworski in the 68th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Emalia Olkusz got a corner. Montevideo City Torque's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olaf Rawa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emalia Olkusz's Olaf Rawa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christophe Troxler in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Marcin Zworski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute Marcin Zworski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christophe Troxler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Zworski in the 73rd minute of the match. Emalia Olkusz's Sunday Niedziela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Meade in the 76th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Cristian Leizaur took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Sunday Niedziela to make any attempt to save it. In the 82nd match minute, Emalia Olkusz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Zworski to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Emalia Olkusz's goal looked a bit too open when Reuben Meade came free, but Sunday Niedziela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Emalia Olkusz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristian Leizaur was slow to take the kick. During this time Montevideo City Torque's players had a chance to rest. 92 minutes into the match, Sergiu Receanu notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler. Christophe Troxler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
