After 2 played minutes Harsh Gods got a freekick which was hit by Lance Cabezas. The crowd rose to their feet as Kauan Rosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomé Mota. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 7th minute Tomas Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Kauan Rosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Cabezas in the 12th minute of the match. After 13 minutes Agua Santa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roberto Carlos who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Harsh Gods booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harsh Gods's Roberto Carlos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Agua Santa. In the 17th match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Tomé Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Lain went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Cabezas in the 22nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Tomé Mota successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 25th minute, Tomas Lain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harsh Gods fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Kauan Rosa succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Harsh Gods's Tomas Lain slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomé Mota. That made the score 6-0 after 30 minutes of play. Tomas Lain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomé Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Agua Santa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roberto Carlos was slow to take the kick. During this time Harsh Gods's players had a chance to rest. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Rosa in the 37th minute of play. Tomé Mota was a little too slow when Tomas Lain got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivo Figueiredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Dedê Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agua Santa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harsh Gods the free kick. Dedê Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Numan Afak in the 57th minute of play. Tomé Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Numan Afak, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Lain in the 62nd minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Lain in the 67th minute of play. After 82 minutes, Cipriano Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agua Santa and the Harsh Gods players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Lain hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Lain in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Lain came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Ali Numan Afak notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Agua Santa's Tomé Mota. Tomé Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Cabezas in the 92nd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Lain came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Tomas Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Harsh Gods players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
