Greenbay's Harvey Davies proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Greenbay from getting a goal against them. Prospero Goethe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Alderson in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute Will Alderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Goethe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Alderson in the 15th minute of play forced Friesenwerdermoor's goalkeeper Prospero Goethe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Goethe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Firmino, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Will Alderson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Greenbay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jamal Roye could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Harvey Davies made a huge save. In the 29th minute of the match Friesenwerdermoor got a corner. Greenbay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vicente Echterhoff ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lennard Rossmanith got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Harvey Davies quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jamal Roye sped through Greenbay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harvey Davies. Prospero Goethe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Sheehan in the 35th minute of play. Jamal Roye could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Harvey Davies made a huge save. If Jamal Roye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luka Weber hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Greenbay's Harvey Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennard Rossmanith in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Friesenwerdermoor's goal looked a bit too open when Will Alderson came free, but Prospero Goethe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luka Weber kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jamal Roye made the kick off in the second half. Prospero Goethe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Alderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Greenbay's Romeo Morrell got a free kick in the 66th minute. The supporters of Friesenwerdermoor booed when Greenbay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Morrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Greenbay's Ruben Sheehan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Goethe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Friesenwerdermoor's goalkeeper Prospero Goethe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Firmino. Hermann Luscher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Harvey Davies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Greenbay reached it. Prospero Goethe was completely defenseless when Ruben Sheehan shot a long shot which deflected off the right pole and into the goal in the game's 92nd minute, 2-4. In the 95th minute, Jamal Roye got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Greenbay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
