Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Londoño in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saruhan Vuralhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Fabian Londoño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saruhan Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, AFC Ajax's Markos Seremetidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustaquio Edwardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 30th match minute, Doppa Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Palacio to maneuver through the defense. Eustaquio Edwardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markos Seremetidis in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, AFC Ajax's Markos Seremetidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustaquio Edwardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Markos Seremetidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markos Seremetidis in the 40th minute of play forced Doppa Fc's goalkeeper Eustaquio Edwardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute of the game Lambis Zacharatos made a throw-in which Markos Seremetidis played forward.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Londoño was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Doppa Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Markos Seremetidis came free, but Eustaquio Edwardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Ajax's Markos Seremetidis got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Doppa Fc booed when AFC Ajax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lambis Zacharatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC Ajax's Saruhan Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Londoño in the 57th minute of play. Markos Seremetidis struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Eustaquio Edwardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Ajax. AFC Ajax made a substitution. Thalis Karteris replaced Aleksander Petka. AFC Ajax's Aureo Morera was substituted for Li Kuan Hong. After taking down the ball on AFC Ajax's corner Veniamin Kountouratzis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eustaquio Edwardo quite easily take care of the ball. Eustaquio Edwardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Sardanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Edwardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Sardanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AFC Ajax had won after a very even match.
