The audience was convinced that José Carneiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Fliz was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Sugar in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartosz Trzenzalski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Fliz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sanagasta AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Carneiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Ema City's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ema City's José Carneiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Luciano Fliz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luciano Fliz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marek Mockiewicz's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Filomeno Rafe made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Toni Mačković. Luciano Fliz came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ema City's José Carneiro. But to his dismay, José Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bartosz Trzenzalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Peio in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carneiro in the 35th minute of play forced Sanagasta AFC's goalkeeper Luciano Fliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, José Carneiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ema City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 40th minute, José Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Fliz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Luciano Fliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carneiro in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sanagasta AFC's goalkeeper Luciano Fliz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ema City were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Sanagasta AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Carneiro took the corner. 55 minutes into the match, José Carneiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Fliz. Sanagasta AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Carneiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Ema City booed when Sanagasta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Lordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Sanagasta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when José Carneiro came free, but Luciano Fliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joel Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute José Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Sanagasta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when José Carneiro came free, but Luciano Fliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ema City made a substitution. Witold Rybak replaced Renaut Vuerinckx. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sanagasta AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luciano Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Sanagasta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Mačković to maneuver through the defense. The Sanagasta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Fliz should have stopped the shot. Luciano Fliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selçuk Özgebay in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Ema City got a freekick which was hit by Chen Yang Han. After 96 played minutes, Sanagasta AFC's Siro Lordi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sanagasta AFC reached it. Ema City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sanagasta AFC for a fine match.
