In the 5th minute, Joel Sugar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sanagasta AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filippo Gigli in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Fliz saved Sanagasta AFC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Peio during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Gualterio Peio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filippo Gigli in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Fliz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sanagasta AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Filippo Gigli scored to the left of an out of position Luciano Fliz, making the score, 1-1. In the 25th match minute, Squadra de Pippe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Gigli to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Fliz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filippo Gigli's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Filippo Gigli took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Luciano Fliz to make any attempt to save it. 35 minutes into the match, Sanagasta AFC's goalkeeper Luciano Fliz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippo Gigli. Joel Sugar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Mazzone having to interfere. Luciano Fliz made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Filippo Gigli sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Filippo Gigli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Squadra de Pippe's Andrea Di Carlo was substituted for Filippo Gigli.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Sugar was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sanagasta AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Wilfredo Erramun hit a great ball. Squadra de Pippe's Tiberiu Balint was substituted for Stanislovas Skripkauskas. Javier Villarreal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Luciano Fliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Squadra de Pippe made a substitution. Fabiano Di Martino replaced Javier Villarreal. Enzo Di Domenico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Squadra de Pippe's Bruno Mazzone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Squadra de Pippe from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Di Martino in the 74th minute of play forced Sanagasta AFC's goalkeeper Luciano Fliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute of the game Ildefonso Polentzi made a throw-in which Wilfredo Erramun played forward. Bruno Mazzone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mačković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sanagasta AFC's Luciano Fliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Di Martino in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Andrea Di Carlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Mazzone made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Joel Sugar sent off a good shot on target. In the 90thth minute of the game Fabiano Di Martino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanagasta AFC's Luciano Fliz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Squadra de Pippe fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sanagasta AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
