Alonzo Cristofol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Luisito Sadurni made a huge save. Hermosillo FC's Sonny Corleone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Frasco in the 15th minute of play. Luisito Sadurni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Cristofol's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Andres Frasco struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Sonny Corleone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tequileros FC. Tequileros FC's Luisito Sadurni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Cristofol in the 26th minute of play. If Luisito Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Conrado Baudelio came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Tequileros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Baudelio couldn't finish the play. Filiberto Bittor hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Han Yue Hong lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tequileros FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alonzo Cristofol made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Baudelio got free with Sonny Corleone in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alonzo Cristofol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Sadurni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Luisito Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Cristofol in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Conrado Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tequileros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Baudelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tequileros FC's Edgard Lécuyer was substituted for Conrado Baudelio. In the 66th minute, Filiberto Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermosillo FC's Feliksas Čepulionis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luisito Sadurni in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 78 minutes of play, Hermosillo FC's Alonzo Cristofol made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisito Sadurni was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Hermosillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Corleone should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Tequileros FC's Dionisio Sotero got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 95 minutes, Filiberto Bittor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tequileros FC and the Hermosillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filiberto Bittor kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
