Mauro Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golo Strojek, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Stanislav Saktor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Recife in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Golo Strojek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Mazda Svidník fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some careless play in the FK Mazda Svidník defense, Davi Lendaa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislav Saktor. The FK Mazda Svidník fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislav Saktor should have stopped the shot. Stanislav Saktor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Golo Strojek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Golo Strojek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Martin Tabaček had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Leonel Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nova Venécia-ES's protests and gave Leonel Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Leonel Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davi Lendaa was the one to do the kick off. Leonel Paranaense came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stanislav Saktor could save by the left post. Nova Venécia-ES's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roque Junior in the 54th minute. The corner led to Nova Venécia-ES's Vitório Nascimento getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 56 minutes into the match, FK Mazda Svidník's goalkeeper Stanislav Saktor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davi Lendaa. Mauro Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Strojek in the 72nd minute of play. Davi Lendaa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Stanislav Saktor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Venécia-ES's zone, Golo Strojek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Barreto came out of the goal and Golo Strojek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Leonel Paranaense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stanislav Saktor. The goal made the score 3-3. Stanislav Saktor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles Recife in the 85th minute. In the 92nd minute Golo Strojek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Igor Demo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
