Matias Dimas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles-Antoine Carnevalli having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Domenec in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Urbasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC VERSHINA’dnipro were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Santhiagos Feli Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vicente Babarovic took the corner. In the 16th minute, Gustavo Bou reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charles-Antoine Carnevalli. The goal made the score 1-0. Santhiagos Feli Club's Baldomero Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Domenec in the 20th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Severo Ganix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Enzo Pelayo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Aristides Domenec came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the FC VERSHINA’dnipro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Domenec couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severo Ganix to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Santhiagos Feli Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Argider to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Ting Sang in the 70th minute of play forced Santhiagos Feli Club's goalkeeper Baldomero Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Santhiagos Feli Club getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Enzo Pelayo hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Adolfo Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Babarovic's shot from long distance in the 77th minute was not bad at all, but Santhiagos Feli Club's Baldomero Urbasa knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Santhiagos Feli Club's Baldomero Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Ting Sang in the 85th minute of play. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Bou in the 91st minute of play. With 92 minutes on the clock, Shelton Cho commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a defensive mix-up in FC VERSHINA’dnipro's zone, Matias Dimas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles-Antoine Carnevalli came out of the goal and Matias Dimas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Santhiagos Feli Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC VERSHINA’dnipro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
