Albinas Matūzas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Denis Paulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Paulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennie Michaud in the 8th minute of the match. If Uriel Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Defensores de Lombroso's Uriel Ferrer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Mazza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rimvydas Andrašiūnas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Paulin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Jonasson came free, but Denis Paulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 30 minutes into the match, FC Karamba's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Ferrer came free, but Enrique Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Defensores de Lombroso's Denis Paulin got control of the ball when Rimvydas Andrašiūnas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Rimvydas Andrašiūnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilhelm Jonasson might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Paulin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilhelm Jonasson ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Defensores de Lombroso were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bennie Michaud to make the kick off. Bennie Michaud scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denis Paulin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juan Simon kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Amadeo Raebert replaced Lucio Cordarrol. After recieving a nice pass, FC Karamba's Vilhelm Jonasson tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Vilhelm Jonasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Paulin was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After 58 played minutes FC Karamba got a freekick which was hit by Albinas Matūzas. In the 60thth minute of the game Uriel Ferrer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Karamba's Enrique Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Arif Oğuz Cevan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Karamba's Vilhelm Jonasson got a free kick in the 61st minute. A collision led to Defensores de Lombroso getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Roman Riquelme hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Karamba booed when Defensores de Lombroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Riquelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Raphael hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Vilhelm Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennie Michaud in the 76th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Denis Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Grzegorz Czermak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes of play Defensores de Lombroso's Roman Riquelme was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Roman Riquelme hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Enrique Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfredo Gau in the 86th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Defensores de Lombroso had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
