Adrian Spineanu came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by NAGANO F.C's Jari Alenius. But to his dismay, Jari Alenius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to NAGANO F.C getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cléber Medeiros hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Fausto Mikolas in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by NAGANO F.C's Erk Hong. Jari Alenius took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Spineanu. Adrian Spineanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 17th match minute, Los Súper Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Lucero to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Los Súper Galácticos defense, Jari Alenius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Spineanu. The Los Súper Galácticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Spineanu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Piorno in the 37th minute of play forced NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper Vellito Alguerdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Spineanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Alenius in the 47th minute of play.

56 minutes into the game, Jari Alenius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Adrian Spineanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute Jari Alenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Spineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Spineanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jari Alenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaroslaw Mochowak hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes Los Súper Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Mochowak. NAGANO F.C's attentive Thorbjörn Hong managed to snatch the ball when Aldo Lucero made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Los Súper Galácticos's zone, Gabriel Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Spineanu came out of the goal and Gabriel Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Gabriel Batistuta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Spineanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Gabriel Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Adrian Spineanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justino Johans made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ramiro Piorno immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the Los Súper Galácticos defense, Gabriel Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Spineanu.
