The audience thought a goal was coming when Juss Vagula got free with Almir Faria in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tõnu Ojaste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Eduardo Beltrami took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Almir Faria to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Paes to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Richard Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristofer Normann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Compostela FSCMZ's zone, Eduardo Beltrami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir Faria came out of the goal and Eduardo Beltrami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juss Vagula scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Almir Faria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Pavel Kallaste notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Compostela FSCMZ's Almir Faria. Almir Faria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Pavel Kallaste had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Almir Faria. Compostela FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavel Kallaste was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Eduardo Prado to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Compostela FSCMZ booed when Grimório was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Beltrami didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Beltrami in the 62nd minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Almir Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Grimório fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Grimório's Juss Vagula looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Almir Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Kallaste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almir Faria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Beltrami went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Kristofer Normann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos da Costa in the 75th minute of the match. Almir Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Kallaste in the 78th minute of play. The Grimório fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grimório fully deserved thier win.
