Marcos Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. bullfinches's Manole Plopeanu was substituted for Edgar Ţopescu. bullfinches's Liviu Zubaşcu got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcos Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebiu Surdilă. Liviu Zubaşcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Gaciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute of the match, Liviu Zubaşcu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Catarinense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 40 minutes into the game, Mateus Alves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Denis Gaciu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

AVAÍ F.C. made a substitution. Jorge Pinho replaced Augusto Penha. bullfinches's Iacob Stroici was substituted for Marin Burileanu. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Zubaşcu made a kick off. If Nae Morar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Luiz Pinheiro hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The supporters of AVAÍ F.C. booed when bullfinches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Dragomiroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nae Morar fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored bullfinches's protests and gave Nae Morar a yellow card for diving instead. Nae Morar kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. AVAÍ F.C. made a substitution. Anderson Mattos replaced Gabriel Poveda. A collision led to AVAÍ F.C. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jorge Pinho hit a great ball. Liviu Zubaşcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Marcos Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Nae Morar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Liviu Zubaşcu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AVAÍ F.C.'s Marcos Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nae Morar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Marcos Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Liviu Zubaşcu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 95 minutes into the match, Anderson Mattos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Gaciu. bullfinches's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anderson Mattos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The bullfinches manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing AVAÍ F.C. to win.
