The crowd rose to their feet as XMAS's Alberigo Gianfrancesco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Nabi Eskioğlu. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. If Ömer Erdem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the XMAS defense, Ömer Erdem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filippo Barbato. The XMAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filippo Barbato should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Andırın SK's Ömer Erdem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filippo Barbato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ömer Erdem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filippo Barbato having to make a save. Ömer Erdem might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filippo Barbato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ömer Erdem ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ömer Erdem in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filippo Barbato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute Andırın SK were awarded a corner. Ruhi Ağırtaş went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Andırın SK's corner Ruhi Ağırtaş fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Filippo Barbato quite easily take care of the ball. Filippo Barbato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ömer Erdem's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Cumhur Atasan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, XMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Erdem came free, but Filippo Barbato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to XMAS getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Concetto Marinucci hit a great ball. After some careless play in the XMAS defense, Cumhur Atasan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filippo Barbato. The XMAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filippo Barbato should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the game, one of XMAS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Ömer Erdem put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Filippo Barbato. 44 minutes into the game, Cumhur Atasan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andırın SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XMAS the free kick. Cumhur Atasan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Ömer Erdem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Barbato having to interfere. The XMAS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Andırın SK were winning 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Minichiello to strike the kick off in the second half. Cumhur Atasan kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ali Nabi Eskioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Alessandrini in the 53rd minute of play. If Ömer Erdem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute Ömer Erdem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Barbato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ömer Erdem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filippo Barbato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of XMAS booed when Andırın SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ömer Erdem might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filippo Barbato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ömer Erdem ran back to his position shaking his head. XMAS's Filippo Barbato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Erdem in the 71st minute of play. Bruno Alessandrini kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Christian Zaccardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Ömer Erdem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Filippo Barbato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filippo Barbato was a little too slow when Ömer Erdem got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-8. Filippo Barbato stood somewhat misplaced when Ömer Erdem came free in front of goal and shot 1-9 to the left of him in the 94 minute. Cumhur Atasan got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Andırın SK getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Cumhur Atasan hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Andırın SK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
