Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel-Omar Batista started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, October 04's goalkeeper Davi Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Gilabert. Alex Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Leo Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When October 04's Antônio Fontes in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's goalie prevented a goal. After 14 played minutes C.A. BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Gilabert. In the 14th minute of the match Alex Mello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Franco skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th minute of the match, Miguel Gilabert got a very nice opportunity to score, but Davi Couto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 23rd match minute, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel-Omar Batista to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Alex Mello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Franco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leo Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Fontes in the 27th minute of play. Miguel Gilabert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davi Couto having to make a save. Miguel Gilabert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Davi Couto made a huge save. If Miguel Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Leo Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Fontes in the 37th minute of play. After 39 played minutes C.A. BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Bonifaco. 44 minutes into the match, October 04's goalkeeper Davi Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Gilabert. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Eduardo França to make the kick off. Leo Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo França in the 51st minute of play. Leo Franco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Eduardo França in the 53rd minute. Davi Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Palben in the 55th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Miguel Gilabert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. BOCA JUNIORS and the October 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes C.A. BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Gilabert. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Gilabert in the 73rd minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Davi Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes of play, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Miguel Gilabert made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davi Couto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Esteve Palben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davi Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, Nemesio Bonifaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute Alex Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
