Fortinducto's Ceferino Adrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan de Souza in the 34th minute of play. Yan de Souza took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ceferino Adrio. The corner led Fortinducto's Osvaldo Figueroa to fire away a dangerous shot which Cesinha Veiga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yan de Souza was the one to do the kick off. Ceferino Adrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan de Souza in the 51st minute of the match. Ceferino Adrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Aureliano Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fortinducto's zone, Yan de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Adrio came out of the goal and Yan de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th match minute, Fortinducto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Poz to maneuver through the defense. Leonides Jerold hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Alfredinho da Mata fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hartmann Futebol Clube's protests and gave Alfredinho da Mata a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredinho da Mata hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hartmann Futebol Clube reached it. In the 82nd minute of the match, Rosendo Santos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cesinha Veiga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cesinha Veiga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosendo Santos in the 88th minute.
