With a left leg Akşemseddin Arslangiray saved 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB from getting behind. When Adnan Perva fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's protests and gave Adnan Perva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Adnan Perva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Akşemseddin Arslangiray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Welf Heinlein in the 14th minute of play. Akşemseddin Arslangiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikeldi Barzana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Adnan Perva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wiese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Şeray Taravet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Adnan Perva sped through SV Bad Harzburg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tim Wiese. Eckhard Donndorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goal looked a bit too open when Eckhard Donndorf came free, but Akşemseddin Arslangiray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mark Elzer made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Marc Richter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Welf Heinlein hit a great ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Aykutalp Urluk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aykutalp Urluk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Emran Akgün kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tim Wiese. That made the score 1-3 in the 63 minute of play. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB made a substitution. Buğrahan Ülkü replaced Furkan Ünsal. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Orçun Güven was substituted for Lauro Guerra. In the 68th minute, Welf Heinlein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aykutalp Urluk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tim Wiese. SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Orçun Güven might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tim Wiese. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orçun Güven ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 78 in the game by Emran Akgün from a close distance when the talented Tim Wiese managed to make a qualified save. SV Bad Harzburg's players were relieved. Emran Akgün's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Tim Wiese skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 82 minutes into the game, Emran Akgün recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tim Wiese. Emran Akgün showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Aykutalp Urluk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Tim Wiese made a huge save. Marc Richter struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Akşemseddin Arslangiray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Bad Harzburg. Tim Wiese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emran Akgün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lars Schira came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the SV Bad Harzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Schira couldn't finish the play. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
