Sao Brasola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramón Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 9 played minutes Guadalupe FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Arantes. In the 12th match minute, Guadalupe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. Ettore Bertini's late challenge caught a Guadalupe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ettore Bertini helped the player get up and apologised. Ettore Bertini kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ramón Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Falcioni having to interfere. Anthony Tristezza's late challenge caught a Guadalupe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthony Tristezza helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Guadalupe FC booed when Sao Brasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Tristezza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthony Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Guerra in the 22nd minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, Guadalupe FC's Pedro Arantes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthony Falcioni was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Messias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ettore Bertini. But to his dismay, Rasgun Cool quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Guadalupe FC's Ramón Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthony Falcioni came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Guadalupe FC's Ramón Guerra. But to his dismay, Ramón Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rasgun Cool made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Rasgun Cool shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sao Brasola's Anthony Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Guerra in the 54th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Damiano Iacovella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sao Brasola and the Guadalupe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anthony Falcioni came out of the goal and Pedro Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Strong Onofre in the 90th minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Anthony Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
