In the 6th minute Jose Eduino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Granerud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jose Eduino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Espen Granerud was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goalkeeper Calvin Kuckhoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witalis Tamulewicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Eduino in the 12th minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Espen Granerud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Gardocki charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Gardocki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walery Roman hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Espen Granerud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmerich Hatschek in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Aristide Iordache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Staines Massive's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristide Iordache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Espen Granerud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Iordache, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Videl Pando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Calvin Kuckhoff made a huge save. A collision led to Hahay getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Videl Pando hit a great ball. In the 39th minute Patrick Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Granerud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Eduino came free, but Espen Granerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Hahay defense, Jose Eduino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Espen Granerud. The Hahay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Espen Granerud should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Dan Rowell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Espen Granerud. Hahay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Rowell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walery Roman was the one to do the kick off. Hahay's Leonard Gardocki got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Leonard Gardocki off the ground. The supporters of West Staines Massive booed when Hahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Gardocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Gardocki. Espen Granerud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Galvão in the 55th minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hahay! 56 minutes into the match, Jose Eduino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Espen Granerud. Hahay's Espen Granerud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Galvão in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Dan Rowell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Espen Granerud. Esteve Baristo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hahay's Norbert Ciempa got a free kick in the 90th minute. Espen Granerud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Eduino in the 90th minute. Espen Granerud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasios Boukouvalas, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. A collision led to Hahay getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Waldemar Andryszyn hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded West Staines Massive left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hahay.
