Gilberto Trigo ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmílson Souza in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bohórquez Doblas saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. Bohórquez Doblas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Trigo went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 17th minute Gilberto Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bohórquez Doblas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marques Martin to maneuver through the defense. Bohórquez Doblas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Edmílson Souza got a free kick in the 38th minute. Bohórquez Doblas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmílson Souza's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Trigo in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bohórquez Doblas saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. 46 minutes into the game, Edmílson Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bohórquez Doblas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Astillero del Guayas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Granadero10 were winning 0-4.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zarando Eguizabal made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Marques Martin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sydney Barros. Granadero10's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Inácio Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granadero10's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astillero del Guayas the free kick. In the 60th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Granadero10's Edmílson Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmílson Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bohórquez Doblas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Trigo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bohórquez Doblas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bohórquez Doblas came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilberto Trigo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 78th minute. Gilberto Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91stth minute of the game Luciano Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Bohórquez Doblas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilberto Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bohórquez Doblas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bohórquez Doblas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Trigo in the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Granadero10 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
