Vinicio Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Brito in the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Isaias Oihan hit a great ball. Vinicio Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Vinicio Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Trigo in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Edmílson Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Lore got free with Oleg Timofeev in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the game, Roberto Herensuge recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oleg Timofeev. Roberto Herensuge showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Isaias Oihan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Oleg Timofeev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Ceferino Dimo got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Trigo came free, but Vinicio Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Salgado in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Mathias dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Trigo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Gau saved Despidida AFC from getting behind. Despidida AFC's Vinicio Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Trigo in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Trigo in the 41st minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Vinicio Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Roberto Herensuge lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Oleg Timofeev. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Iyan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Despidida AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montevideo the free kick. In the 51st minute, Arnoldo Iyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Montevideo's Edmílson Silveira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Oleg Timofeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Trigo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinicio Gau came out and tried to block the shot, but Arthur Trigo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 58th minute. Vinicio Gau made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Arthur Trigo sent off a good shot on target. Arthur Trigo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinicio Gau came out and tried to block the shot, but Arthur Trigo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 70th minute. Ezequiel Lore hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Mathias dos Santos hit a great ball. If Mathias dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leandro Brito scored 2-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinicio Gau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Despidida AFC's Vinicio Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias dos Santos in the 86th minute of play. Vinicio Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Trigo in the 89th minute of the match. Edmílson Silveira's late challenge caught a Despidida AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmílson Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute of the match Cirilo Peruanton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oleg Timofeev skillfully saved the ball.
