The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Q. T. Vahap Özdil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Veronica's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Oğuzalp Şahinhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Perutxo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Severo Veronica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Burutzagi in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vahap Özdil saved Los Tatangelos from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Veronica in the 27th minute of play forced Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Vahap Özdil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Burutzagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahap Özdil having to interfere. Q. T. I.'s Ignacio Ignatius was substituted for Pablo Perutxo. 45 minutes into the game, Nestor Chap was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Q. T.
