After a rather tough play, Acratas Unidos's Reynaldo Perutxo got a free kick in the 5th minute. AFK Petržalka's Filip Garaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Jusepe in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnalt Teresa during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ciro Tello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Fossum in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Irrintzi in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filip Garaj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of AFK Petržalka booed when Acratas Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Perutxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Fossum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciro Tello. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Martin Fossum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Tello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Martin Fossum made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Tello was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Ciro Tello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teofilo Lorencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Filip Garaj successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 61st minute of the match, Nicolas Irrintzi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filip Garaj saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Acratas Unidos booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon von Liechtenstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 minutes, Víctor Antov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFK Petržalka and the Acratas Unidos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciro Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Haremeijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Martin Fossum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. AFK Petržalka's Nikola Krstović was substituted for Martin Fossum. AFK Petržalka's Nino Marcelli was substituted for Eärendil Carabajal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Jirka during the 74th minute. The Acratas Unidos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 84th minute Efrain Jusepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Garaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Nicolas Irrintzi could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 5-2 into the left cross. Ciro Tello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Krstović, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, Acratas Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. If Nikola Krstović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Acratas Unidos's zone, Nikola Krstović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Tello came out of the goal and Nikola Krstović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Erik Jirka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acratas Unidos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
