Anibal Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Salazar in the 8th minute of play. Kasper Elssen kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Viseu United's Amado Salazar in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LA DEL MONO's goalie prevented a goal. Viseu United were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after LA DEL MONO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolas Vilalobos took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Nicolas Vilalobos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anibal Aritza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 16 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Rodas. The supporters of LA DEL MONO booed when Viseu United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amado Salazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anibal Aritza came out and tried to block the shot, but Amado Salazar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Viseu United's Jorge Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Evis in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Viseu United's goal looked a bit too open when David Evis came free, but Jorge Caetano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match LA DEL MONO got a corner. Viseu United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Evis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on LA DEL MONO's corner Epifanio Polentzi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jorge Caetano quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd minute, David Evis made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Caetano. Viseu United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Viseu United's João Pádua was substituted for Matias Pegado. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Evis in the 58th minute of play forced Viseu United's goalkeeper Jorge Caetano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Gerwin Dongen. Jorge Caetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Evis, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Viseu United getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gerwin Dongen hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Viseu United were victorious despite being under pressure from LA DEL MONO for much of the match.
