Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dino Maquiano in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aílton Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Olaf Kochowski in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Agro Imortal's Osvaldo Valadares. Harry Stanley kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Olaf Kochowski hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Cederik Huts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Bergkamp in the 13th minute. After taking down the ball on Agro Imortal's corner Harry Stanley fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cederik Huts quite easily take care of the ball. Dennis Bergkamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aílton Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dino Maquiano went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aílton Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Reijnders, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th match minute, Agro Imortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Bergkamp scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cederik Huts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aílton Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Reijnders, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Reijnders in the 38th minute of play forced Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Aílton Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Bergkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederik Huts having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Dennis Bergkamp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cederik Huts. The goal made the score 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Reijnders to make the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Kickers United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Agro Imortal:s goal. In the 58th minute, Dennis Bergkamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Agro Imortal fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Agro Imortal's Dennis Bergkamp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Agro Imortal's Delfim da Costa was substituted for Dennis Bergkamp. Agro Imortal made a substitution. João Carlos Schmidt replaced Harry Stanley. Kickers United made a substitution. Iwan Banach replaced Leonides Blasi. Kickers United's Toon Adriaensens was substituted for Niels Vandamme. In the 69th minute, Dino Maquiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kickers United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After 72 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Kochowski. João Carlos Schmidt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Agro Imortal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kickers United:s goal. Agro Imortal:s Aílton Fernandez showed great skill when he stopped Dino Maquiano:s penalty. Delfim da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cederik Huts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delfim da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Cederik Huts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Kickers United's Artur Leenders got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim da Costa in the 88th minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aílton Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Banach in the 96th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Olaf Kochowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agro Imortal's Aílton Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Leenders in the 98th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Aílton Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Leenders. Kickers United's Cederik Huts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Algren in the 99th minute of play. The Agro Imortal players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
