An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Ucero in the 14th minute of play forced ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Nicasio Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goal looked a bit too open when Gumersindo Peña came free, but Nicasio Benino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Dorio in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Benino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jon Calatayud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Gai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Norberto Joseph almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Jon Calatayud did a great save. 28 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Elpidio Gai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Calatayud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's corner Norberto Joseph fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jon Calatayud quite easily take care of the ball. When Taurino Losantos fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's protests and gave Taurino Losantos a yellow card for diving instead. Taurino Losantos kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Gumersindo Peña got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Federico Laurentzi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the ARedonditos de Ricota CFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Laurentzi couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sixto Harriet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jon Calatayud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play.
