In the 45th minute Lucas Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute Manchester United FC were awarded a corner. Eero Uusipaavalniemi went to the cornerflag to take it. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Basualdo in the 69th minute of the match. Tony Löv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Beckham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davide Beckham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
