Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcus Paes took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Mikael Liberatore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Saldanha. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikael Liberatore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 13th match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho das Neves to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Wargön's Dalmo Saldanha threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mikael Liberatore, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jerome Rohrer scored 2-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sören Tunberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Marcus Paes made a precise shot to the right of Sören Tunberg. Wargön's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 27th minute, Mikael Liberatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wargön fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Sören Tunberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayan Baye could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dalmo Saldanha made a huge save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 39 minutes Jovens Democratas MZC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bayan Baye who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Wargön's Maxime Poussin got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Liberatore in the 44th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bayan Baye made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Mikael Liberatore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmo Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayan Baye in the 61st minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mikael Liberatore came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Wargön fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Liberatore couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute Ivar Siöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy de Brito in the 68th minute of play. Laerte Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Dobromir Zagrodny replaced Jerome Rohrer. In the 71st minute, Laerte Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils-Arne Nilsson succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-2. Wargön made a substitution. Reşat Sancaktar replaced Ivar Siöberg. Dobromir Zagrodny kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Reşat Sancaktar might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reşat Sancaktar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute Reşat Sancaktar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Wargön's Reşat Sancaktar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmo Saldanha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. Bayan Baye took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmo Saldanha. Dalmo Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. After 94 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Ruy de Brito. Jovens Democratas MZC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
