Spectators: 48 (Terracing: 37, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severo Bermudo started the match with the kick off. Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yang Wen in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Costa came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Bermudo might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rouven Nussli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severo Bermudo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute Severo Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Severo Bermudo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rouven Nussli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Severo Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rouven Nussli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Percival Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mano Hume. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 27th minute of the match, Percival Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mano Hume saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to International Thunders getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Julien-Nils Freeh hit a great ball. International Thunders's Rouven Nussli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Bermudo in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Utopía Muerta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Amarita to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Martinez kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Severo Bermudo scored 1-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rouven Nussli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Costa came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mano Hume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 48 minutes, Severo Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utopía Muerta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Bermudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Utopía Muerta FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Percival Costa was the one to do the kick off. Fermin Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Utopía Muerta FC's Prudencio Ubelteso was substituted for Anier Johans. Rouven Nussli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramón Furtado went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Costa in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Ramón Furtado notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of International Thunders's Rouven Nussli. Rouven Nussli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Ramón Furtado sped through International Thunders's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rouven Nussli. 74 minutes into the match, Jelle Knopper notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume. Mano Hume was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramón Furtado in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rouven Nussli saved International Thunders from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Furtado in the 82nd minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Rouven Nussli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jelle Knopper in the 86th minute of play forced Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Furtado came free, but Rouven Nussli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramón Furtado in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rouven Nussli saved International Thunders from getting behind. In the 91st minute of the match Utopía Muerta FC got a corner. International Thunders's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armando Amarita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ramón Furtado in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rouven Nussli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Utopía Muerta FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
