An unexpectedly hard shot by Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 21st minute of play forced Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ruy Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Taco Van Der Hoorn came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Taco Van Der Hoorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Barış Yeler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu do Nascimento hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The Los Andes FC - FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON were winning 0-1.

In the 54th minute, SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON's Taco Van Der Hoorn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruy Montenegro. Ruy Montenegro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ made a substitution. Luís Paulo do Nascimento replaced Arjen Robben. Aytuğ Aral hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Taco Van Der Hoorn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ booed when SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th match minute, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Azevedo to maneuver through the defense.
