Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corneliu Dridu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute, Alberto Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rômulo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omid Kaulbach in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Trevisan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 41st minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Rômulo de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Rômulo de Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corneliu Dridu got free with Rômulo de Almeida in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rômulo de Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 81st minute. Dr Lecter SC's Fedele Di Fabrizio was substituted for Corneliu Dridu. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Rômulo de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Rondinone F.C - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Alcântara came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rômulo de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Di Fabrizio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dr Lecter SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
