Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Benny Stolpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mergildo Fuente in the 7th minute of play. João Francisco Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Benny Stolpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Basajaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Freddy Basajaun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but 史默晨 made a huge save. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Sandro Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Freddy Basajaun notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FCSB CUENCA's 史默晨. 史默晨 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benny Stolpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mergildo Fuente in the 23rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Freddy Basajaun took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for 史默晨 to make any attempt to save it. In the 29th minute, Matias Santikurtz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCSB CUENCA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Sanches in the 35th minute of play forced Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's goalkeeper Benny Stolpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Benny Stolpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Santikurtz in the 40th minute of play. Benny Stolpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Santikurtz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Santikurtz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Padro to maneuver through the defense. FCSB CUENCA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zhu Feng in the 58th minute. A nice corner shot did that Zhu Feng got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benny Stolpe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Freddy Basajaun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 史默晨 was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Benny Stolpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beltran De Paula in the 68th minute of play. Benny Stolpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mergildo Fuente in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute Mergildo Fuente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benny Stolpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Francisco Sanches's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benny Stolpe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Benny Stolpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FCSB CUENCA booed when Joinville S.German-FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. FCSB CUENCA made a substitution. Marcio Carreira replaced João Francisco Sanches. A collision led to Joinville S.German-FSCMZ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Elias Vale hit a great ball. With a little luck, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Benny Stolpe got control of the ball when Matias Santikurtz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benny Stolpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcio Carreira in the 87th minute of the match. Benny Stolpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcio Carreira in the 91st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in FCSB CUENCA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! 史默晨 had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Vladimir Albuquerque's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 97th minute, Vladimir Albuquerque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joinville S.German-FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FCSB CUENCA for a fine match.
