Edwin Grabert ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Grabert in the 23rd minute. Cristian Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Grabert in the 26th minute of the match. Savage Hippo's Martynas Jaras was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristian Salles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Grabert came free, but Cristian Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edwin Grabert went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 37 minutes Triforce Super Soccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martynas Jaras who took care of the corner kick. 42 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Alcântara came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute José Paulo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Arne Askstedt came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Triforce Super Soccer's Luiz Paulo de Lima. But to his dismay, Luiz Paulo de Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Martynas Jaras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 52 played minutes, Triforce Super Soccer's Eduard Kovalchuk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Triforce Super Soccer reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Savage Hippo's zone, José Paulo Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Arne Askstedt came out of the goal and José Paulo Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice. In the 77th minute, Martynas Jaras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Grabert in the 80th minute of play. Cristian Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Grabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 86th minute of play. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Alcântara in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as José Paulo Alcântara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bengt-Arne Askstedt. That made the score 1-3 in the 89 minute of play. When Gernando Saldanha fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Triforce Super Soccer's protests and gave Gernando Saldanha a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Triforce Super Soccer getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gernando Saldanha hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Triforce Super Soccer eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
