Wincenty Puchlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Harkaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when János Pálosi came free, but Wincenty Puchlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Soczewki Gliwice defense, Ildefonso Iraunkor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wincenty Puchlik. The Soczewki Gliwice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincenty Puchlik should have stopped the shot. Soczewki Gliwice's Edward Buczko managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Montxo Gorbea in the 21 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by János Pálosi in the 26th minute of play forced Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Wincenty Puchlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
