The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Francisco Fontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Saúl Menem took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artemio Tohias. Artemio Tohias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Artemio Tohias came out of the goal and Valentin Geambașu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ..Villa Rugby Club.. had played much better football throughout.
