The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Spencer Holder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Ran Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ovidio Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lincoln Hand, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by GUSESI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adrian Nicolae was slow to take the kick. During this time S.D. Bajen's players had a chance to rest. The corner led S.D. Bajen's Adrian Nicolae to fire away a dangerous shot which Thibaut Courtois despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nemesio Lobo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Lorenzo Elia hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Spencer Holder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Ran Peng in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Ran Peng in the 20th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Spencer Holder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thibaut Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Wasikowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Liu Ran Peng notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of S.D. Bajen's Spencer Holder. Spencer Holder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Elia came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Elia. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Elia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thibaut Courtois was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The attack was good, but when Lorenzo Elia in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 37 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Favila came free, but Spencer Holder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ovidio Favila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Spencer Holder was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Tobias Leheren hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kacper Wasikowski to strike the kick off in the second half. GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Elia in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korey Benedict to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Wasikowski came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of GUSESI booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Foster Contreras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spencer Holder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Favila in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match GUSESI got a corner. S.D. Bajen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carmelo Sanduru ran over to the corner to take the kick. Agustin Rego made a great header on GUSESI's corner, it was just that S.D. Bajen's Spencer Holder managed to reach the ball for a save. 68 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Lincoln Hand came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Agustin Rego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.D. Bajen made a substitution. Andrew Borgers replaced Mark Twainborg. 76 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Lincoln Hand came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Wasikowski came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bajen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrian Nicolae in the 94th minute. Adrian Nicolae made a great header on S.D. Bajen's corner, it was just that GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois managed to reach the ball for a save. The GUSESI supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GUSESI would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
