The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Alfonso got free with Iker Casillas in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Bergman in the 23rd minute of play. Roland Brudnicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Iker Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Brudnicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Canzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Herbert Siedlecki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Casillas was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herbert Siedlecki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roland Brudnicki might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Casillas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jerzy Wydrych managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bone Breakers's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Wydrych was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Casillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bone Breakers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerzy Wydrych in the 88th minute. Iker Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Alfonso in the 89th minute of the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Marcin Jarek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iker Casillas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcin Jarek's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcin Jarek in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Casillas saved Villa Gordiani from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Philippe Albert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bone Breakers had won after a very even match.
