The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Haegg came free, but Braulio Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Matro in the 33rd minute of play. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Daniel Isăceanu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dawid Kalak, made in the 39th minute of the game. Robert Haegg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braulio Gartxot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Daniel Isăceanu got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Vinicio Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Haegg was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute Marcel da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Bang Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Marcel da Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xie Bang Ang. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Per-Åke Browald was substituted for Guaberto Matro. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Emilio Gonzales was substituted for Robert Haegg. In the 74th minute Marcel da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Bang Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Beltran in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot got control of the ball when Emilio Gonzales tried to sneak it across the goal line. Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Browald in the 79th minute of play. Xie Bang Ang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 80th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Marcel da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
