The crowd rose to their feet as Universitario de deportes's Hugo Saboya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihkel Aksalu. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Saboya got free with Mihkel Aksalu in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Hugo Saboya reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mihkel Aksalu. The goal made the score 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nacho Hernández to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Dep. Moron defense, Hugo Saboya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihkel Aksalu. The Dep. Moron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihkel Aksalu should have stopped the shot. In the 59thth minute of the game J.P. Morgan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dep. Moron's Mihkel Aksalu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anthony Barnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Lucas Rallo made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Ion Dulgherescu notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Universitario de deportes's Lucas Rallo. Lucas Rallo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute Modesto Senio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihkel Aksalu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Saboya might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihkel Aksalu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Saboya ran back to his position shaking his head. Mihkel Aksalu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Saboya, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Hugo Saboya made a precise shot to the right of Mihkel Aksalu. Dep. Moron's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Mihkel Aksalu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Saboya in the 77th minute of the match. If Hugo Saboya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Rallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Hernández in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Universitario de deportes's Roman Zima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihkel Aksalu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. 93 minutes into the match, Dep. Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Saboya came free, but Mihkel Aksalu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Saboya struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Mihkel Aksalu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universitario de deportes. Universitario de deportes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
