Poul Stanković might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tạ I. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Poul Stanković ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's goalkeeper Tạ I had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Poul Stanković. Poul Stanković could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Tạ I made a huge save. In the 26th minute Anak Selby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gumersindo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gumersindo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anak Selby in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anak Selby in the 32nd minute of play forced Boomer Fc's goalkeeper Gumersindo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Poul Stanković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tạ I was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Tạ I made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poul Stanković in the 39th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Poul Stanković to strike the kick off in the second half. The Begu Ganjang fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tạ I should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute of the match Boomer Fc got a corner. Begu Ganjang's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xinto Torres ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Tito Quintas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 78 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's goal looked a bit too open when Poul Stanković came free, but Tạ I reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Trezeguet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gumersindo Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Begu Ganjang's Tạ I played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poul Stanković in the 82nd minute of play. Gumersindo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Trezeguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Boomer Fc's goal looked a bit too open when David Trezeguet came free, but Gumersindo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boomer Fc's Poul Stanković got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
