In the 8th minute of the match, Luís Senna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Per-Arne Hansson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Göksel Canfeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Bogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet İlke Beşer came free, but Göksel Canfeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet İlke Beşer might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Göksel Canfeda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet İlke Beşer ran back to his position shaking his head. Almaröds FF's Per-Arne Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Senna in the 17th minute of play. Nadir Yalvaç charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nadir Yalvaç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nadir Yalvaç hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Luís Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Hansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Almaröds FF's Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye istanbulls's goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Bogren came free, but Göksel Canfeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ahmet İlke Beşer came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Almaröds FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet İlke Beşer couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Almaröds FF's zone, Alp Enginalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Arne Hansson came out of the goal and Alp Enginalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almaröds FF's goalkeeper Per-Arne Hansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per-Arne Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alp Enginalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alp Enginalp in the 53rd minute of play forced Almaröds FF's goalkeeper Per-Arne Hansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goal looked a bit too open when Alp Enginalp came free, but Per-Arne Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Arne Hansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alp Enginalp in the 58th minute of the match. Per-Arne Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Chong Kang in the 59th minute of play. Göksel Canfeda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaf Bogren's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Per-Arne Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alp Enginalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 66 played minutes istanbulls got a freekick which was hit by Nadir Yalvaç. In the 68th minute Zeng Chong Kang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Hansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet İlke Beşer came free, but Göksel Canfeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet İlke Beşer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Göksel Canfeda made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Chong Kang came free, but Per-Arne Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almaröds FF's Per-Arne Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Senna in the 73rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Nadir Yalvaç in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Almaröds FF's Flavio Migliorati. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet İlke Beşer got free with Göksel Canfeda in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Almaröds FF were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after istanbulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Simon Thidén took the corner. Simon Thidén made a great header on Almaröds FF's corner, it was just that istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 81st minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Arne Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haldun Özol, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda got control of the ball when Ahmet İlke Beşer tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 84th minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ahmet İlke Beşer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almaröds FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet İlke Beşer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göksel Canfeda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per-Arne Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Senna in the 92nd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. istanbulls had played much better football throughout.
