De Boedo Vengo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clodoveo Weather ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 18th minute Felix Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vellito Alguerdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De Boedo Vengo's Eneas Diez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Alenius in the 20th minute of play. De Boedo Vengo's Eneas Diez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norbert Chwalkiewicz in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vellito Alguerdo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the De Boedo Vengo defense, Jari Alenius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eneas Diez. The De Boedo Vengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eneas Diez should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Gheară in the 38th minute of play forced NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper Vellito Alguerdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vellito Alguerdo came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by De Boedo Vengo's Placido Jenaro. But to his dismay, Placido Jenaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 44 minutes, Luca Pedro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Boedo Vengo and the NAGANO F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Luca Pedro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eneas Diez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jari Alenius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The wind increased when Jari Alenius made the kick off in the second half. Eneas Diez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jari Alenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Placido Jenaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Vellito Alguerdo made a huge save. When Jari Alenius came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the NAGANO F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jari Alenius couldn't finish the play. Eneas Diez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jari Alenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. NAGANO F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clodoveo Weather in the 79th minute. Luca Pedro thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Eneas Diez, a very annoying self made goal in the 80th minute which led to 5-1. Eneas Diez came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by NAGANO F.C's Gabriel Batistuta. But to his dismay, Gabriel Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When NAGANO F.C's Gabriel Batistuta in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Boedo Vengo's goalie prevented a goal. NAGANO F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clodoveo Weather in the 89th minute. After 91 minutes of play, NAGANO F.C's Gabriel Batistuta made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eneas Diez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The excitement rose when NAGANO F.C's Gabriel Batistuta after 97 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 8-1.
