In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Nae Costin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Chiuzbaian in the 10th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Nae Costin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Chiuzbaian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nae Costin. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Chiuzbaian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nae Costin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Chiuzbaian in the 19th minute of the match. Ferdinand Chiuzbaian scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nae Costin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Juventus Țiu's Edgar Enoaia got control of the ball when Petre Benga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Cerchez came free, but Nae Costin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nae Costin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Chiuzbaian in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Cerchez came free, but Nae Costin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Sergiu Cerchez sped through Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nae Costin. Narcis Aursulesei hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panait Agrigoroaiei to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the game, Aristide Juverdeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus Țiu the free kick. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Aristide Juverdeanu got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 46th minute, Laurențiu Tache sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Nae Costin didn't even have to move. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergiu Cerchez was the one to do the kick off. Edgar Enoaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Benga in the 54th minute of the match. Laurențiu Ionescu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Narcis Aursulesei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Enoaia having to interfere. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Nae Costin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Chiuzbaian in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Calistrat Bebeșel hit a great ball. Nae Costin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Laurențiu Tache. After 68 minutes, Petre Benga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- and the Juventus Țiu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juventus Țiu's Laurențiu Tache shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nae Costin but with some difficulty. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Nae Costin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Cernescu in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Juverdeanu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 73 minutes, Laurențiu Tache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus Țiu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurențiu Tache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sergiu Cerchez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nae Costin. That made the score 0-6 in the 85 minute of play. Laurențiu Tache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Nae Costin made a huge save.
