Mihnea Vizitiu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jerry Gane showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Rovine Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Pătran to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Jerry Gane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Vizitiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihnea Vizitiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Munteanu in the 21st minute of the match. Dorin Arșanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Bădoi in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Rovine Craiova getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Matei Nasta hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Jerry Gane recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mihnea Vizitiu. Jerry Gane showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Jerry Gane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Mihnea Vizitiu made a huge save. Liviu Hurmuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dacian Patrichi got free with Mihnea Vizitiu in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Alexandru Aanicăi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Rovine Craiova getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Dacian Patrichi hit a great ball. Mihnea Vizitiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Patrichi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 69th minute Jerry Gane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Vizitiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Dacian Patrichi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Mihnea Vizitiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Patrichi in the 73rd minute of play. Mihnea Vizitiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Gane, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Mihnea Vizitiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Patrichi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rovine Craiova fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Rovine Craiova's Cristian Tutunaru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 84 minutes into the match, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Gane came free, but Mihnea Vizitiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dacian Patrichi scored 4-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihnea Vizitiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mihnea Vizitiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Patrichi in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the -BZF- Petrolul Berca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rovine Craiova.
