In the 3rd minute, Ion Şimonca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grigore Ozon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Grigore Ozon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Şimonca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Emanuel Cernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Ozon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigore Ozon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Cernat in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remus Răduțu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mădălin Cârnațiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grigore Ozon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Gorcea in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pompiliu Gorcea hit a great ball. Navigatii Bacău's Grigore Ozon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Cernat in the 21st minute of play. Grigore Ozon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Gorcea in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, FC Buzău's Ion Şimonca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grigore Ozon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Grigore Ozon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuel Cernat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Cernat got free with Grigore Ozon in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Emanuel Cernat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigore Ozon. Navigatii Bacău's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Cernat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Grigore Ozon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Şimonca, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 43 minutes, Gabriel Suşu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Navigatii Bacău and the FC Buzău players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Navigatii Bacău's Gabriel Suşu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Irinel Hâncu during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Navigatii Bacău getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Irinel Hâncu hit a great ball. In the 47th match minute, FC Buzău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Andrițoiu to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Balaban made a kick off. If Cristian Balaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Pompiliu Gorcea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grigore Ozon was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Mădălin Cârnațiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Răduțu in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Cernat in the 71st minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Grigore Ozon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigore Ozon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Andrițoiu in the 77th minute of the match. Mihăiţă Andrițoiu took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grigore Ozon. Grigore Ozon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. The FC Buzău fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when FC Buzău's Ion Şimonca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Grigore Ozon came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Buzău's Ion Şimonca. But to his dismay, Ion Şimonca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Grigore Ozon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Zgondea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Gorcea came free, but Grigore Ozon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Emanuel Cernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Ozon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Buzău fully deserved thier win.
