Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tiberiu Caramarin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Gârniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorin Banu got free with Cătălin Gârniceanu in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cătălin Gârniceanu made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Dorin Banu sent off a good shot on target. Tiberiu Caramarin took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cătălin Gârniceanu. Cătălin Gârniceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. MIT Craiova's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daddy Ares in the 18th minute of play. Cătălin Gârniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Cătălin Gârniceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiberiu Caramarin's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiberiu Caramarin in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cătălin Gârniceanu saved -BZF- Valea Buzăului from getting behind. David Balaban hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Cătălin Gârniceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 28th minute. Cătălin Gârniceanu was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Tiberiu Caramarin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiberiu Caramarin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Dorin Banu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the MIT Craiova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorin Banu couldn't finish the play. Cătălin Gârniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 39th minute of play. Tiberiu Caramarins short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Cătălin Gârniceanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 46th minute MIT Craiova were awarded a corner. Mihăiţă Ilarie went to the cornerflag to take it. Florin Seremet made a great header on MIT Craiova's corner, it was just that -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Cătălin Gârniceanu managed to reach the ball for a save. Tiberiu Caramarin in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cătălin Gârniceanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Cosoreanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Cătălin Gârniceanu came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by MIT Craiova's Tiberiu Caramarin. But to his dismay, Tiberiu Caramarin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 57 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Cătălin Gârniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When MIT Craiova's Tiberiu Caramarin in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiberiu Caramarin in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cătălin Gârniceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cătălin Gârniceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Banu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daddy Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mihăiţă Ilarie was slow to take the kick. During this time MIT Craiova's players had a chance to rest. Mihăiţă Ilarie made a great header on MIT Craiova's corner, it was just that -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Cătălin Gârniceanu managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 80th minute, Remus Postelnicescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MIT Craiova made a substitution. Fabian Geantă replaced Mihăiţă Ilarie. After 81 played minutes -BZF- Valea Buzăului got a freekick which was hit by Remus Postelnicescu. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Cătălin Gârniceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Cătălin Gârniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiberiu Caramarin in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cătălin Gârniceanu saved -BZF- Valea Buzăului from getting behind. MIT Craiova's Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Florin Seremet. In the 96th minute, David Tunander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIT Craiova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. MIT Craiova's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
