When George Buzoianu came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the F.C. Baia Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Buzoianu couldn't finish the play. With his leg Zé Vieira managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s George Buzoianu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by George Buzoianu in the 19th minute. After taking down the ball on F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s corner Anton Baicea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zé Vieira quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. George Buzoianu might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Vieira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Buzoianu ran back to his position shaking his head. George Buzoianu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Zé Vieira made a huge save. George Buzoianu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Vlad Enătescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Baia Mare -MM- and the Inazuma Japan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes F.C. Baia Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Enătescu. 43 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo da Fonseca came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Gurlui in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo da Fonseca got free with Zsigmond Pál in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Gurlui in the 63rd minute of the match. Vlad Enătescu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Adilson Ramalho hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Gurlui in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Manuel Tărbac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inazuma Japan the free kick. In the 77th minute, Manuel Tărbac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iosif Gurlui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Vieira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 87th match minute, Inazuma Japan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s George Buzoianu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Buzoianu in the 91st minute of play forced Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by George Buzoianu in the 92nd minute. A nice corner shot did that George Buzoianu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Vieira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C. Baia Mare -MM- had won after a very even match.
